Yeah, so remember that little video project I was in charge of for our company? Well, I finished it this weekend and sent it in to our local science center for their online fundraiser on Thursday (here's hoping it helps them raise some money).
While I've written and directed plenty of videos in my day, this was the first one I filmed and edited as well. As my friend and videographer mentor Tim once told me, the major difference between amateur and professional video is audio, and I would have to agree; I underestimated how loud the noise of our production floor would be and how much work it would take to clean up to the degree I was able - lesson learned.
Otherwise, it was fun to throw this together and work with other Montana Instruments staff who trusted that there was a method to the madness. Check it out and (hopefully) enjoy.
