Major thanks to Janice at Express Arrow (formerly Black Hills Bus Lines, Inc.) for her fantastic response to my request for refund after the bus fiasco a few weeks ago.
Apparently, Greyhound Bus (“there’s no more faith in thee than in a stewed prune,” Henry IV) leases out bus contracts to regional bus lines to fulfill their routes and these smaller companies know a whole heck of a lot more about customer service than they do. Janice immediately made things right by covering the portions of our trip that we were unable to use because of their bus malfunction, which ended up covering the cost of our rental car and gas, which is all I asked.
I'm ready for my next bus trip. Who's with me?!
