Craig, I enjoy skimming through what you write on any topic at whatever frequency you desire. I also enjoy the more in-depth posts that you do in this 168 character world. On a side, I noticed the book club mentioned A Tale of Three Kings. I really enjoyed that book and anything else that Gene Edwards has written.
Thanks for reading, Tim. You’ve been with me for a long time!
Indeed, I’m excited for Edwards’ book, as I loved it when I first read it as well. I don’t think I’ve read any others he’s written, though, so if you’d care to enlighten me with a couple other favorite titles, I’m all ears.
The first couple of books of The Chronicles of the Door (retitled The Chronicles of Heaven) are my all-time favorites. The first one, The Beginning, ranks in the top three books that I have ever read in my life, outside of the Bible itself.
Thanks, Fish. We were very encouraged with the first gathering for Screwtape. We told folks they could come to all, none, or one or two, so we'll see who shows for the rest of them. If you're looking for a reason to road trip to Springfield...
One of my all-time favorites. The best part is that if you like Hannah, you've opened the door to an entire universe of 12 or so more books with different angles of the same people and place of Port William, KY. I hope it feels familiar.

Ordered The Beginning based on your recommendation. Thanks.
Ooooh, I'm so intrigued by your book club info (and much too far afield to join). But I do wonder... What's the first rule of book club?? :)
The smiley face leads to believe I'm stuck between a movie and a hard place here.
Thanks for the update and for continuing to write! The book club is a great idea!

I audiobooked Hannah Coulter yesterday for my drive home and listened to the first few chapters. Looking forward to hearing more.
